Through its subsidiaries, the Company provides rail freight transportation between ports on the U.S. Pacific coast and Gulf Coast and gateways in the Midwest and Eastern U.S. It also provides transportation services to Canada and Mexico. The Company's activities include the transportation of bulk cargo, such as grain, fertilizer and food; industrial products, such as construction and industrial chemicals and ores; finished automobiles and auto parts; and goods in intermodal containers.
